Our Elite USPL Academy College Level / Gap Year Soccer Program is for men and women athletes that want elite full-time academy training and to gain exposure in order to receive a scholarship and make a collegiate team. Our Program is a Monday - Friday Full Day Academy that spans 8 months. We offer both Residential and Non-Residential (local) programs.
A player’s collegiate level is often determined by athletic ability, game performance, work ethic, size for position, and college position needs, but to whom you are exposed too evidently always is one of the most influential factors to where an athlete lands. We get you ready and We get you seen!
This program also allows athletes to take a year off before attending college (also known as a “gap year”) without losing any of their 4 year eligibility. Athletes in this program will compete against many of the nation’s top prep teams, elite U20-U23 teams, college programs and compete in the nation’s best showcases. After 30+ games, players will have the experience and confidence to play at the next level.
Residential student-athletes are housed in a residential setting in beautiful Visalia Ca. These residents consist of 2-3 bedroom apartments.
All competitions are recorded and streamed via YouTube live. All field trainings and matches are also recorded using the Blink Focos robotic camera system. Furthermore, each athlete will be assisted starting week one in creating a Player Recruiting Profile and producing high-quality highlight films by the use of the HUDL video application. Our Player recruiting profiles also consist of things like creating player business cards and athlete web pages, plus much more! Also, throughout the year a number of team bonding trips will be taken throughout our great state to places like Yosemite and Santa Cruz plus many others!
If a player wants a scholarship to be a collegiate student-athlete, Cal State Preparatory Academy will assist them by instructing, supporting, and validating them along the way. We set the scene for our players, allowing them to take on the responsibility and have the resources to perform at their best in competitive environments.
