CAL STATE PREP ACADEMY’S AAU and USA BASKETBALL ELITE RESIDENCY AND YOUTH ACADEMY

Cal State Prep Academy USA Basketball/AAU Elite Residency and Youth Basketball Programs are for those players who have progressed beyond their local Recreational Leagues and/or their City/Area Based Travel Hoops Squad. Cal State Prep Academy's Basketball Program and All Star teams are the best place to compete against the best youth basketball players and teams in the Country. The CSPA EAGLES will travel and play top elite level teams in the Nation. All teams will also play in some of the most Prestigious Youth Basketball tournaments throughout the Nation!

Each team consists of 10-12 players per team, per age level to promote exposure and an overall better experience. Our travel/club basketball year is broken up into 2 seasons (Except 20U and 18U Residency Program): Spring/Summer (March-Aug), Fall/Winter (Sept-Feb). We expect that if you choose to play, you are fully committed to that season and expected to travel to play in weekend tournaments and/or elite leagues. Most tournaments will be in CA or NV, with our older teams traveling further.

 

Commitment

Please understand that this is a high level of commitment. This is, however, a program for those players who want to be challenged and want to play at the elite High School basketball level and beyond. Cal State Prep teams are formed through recruitment and tryouts and feature professional coaches. There will be full team tryouts and players will be added depending on how many new players are needed.

Our Commitment to our Players and Families. All Players once selected will have a roster each following season. (Except in cases of disciplinary action). Levels will vary, but at Cal State Prep Academy we are committed to the success of all our players.

  • Multiple Affiliations allow CSPA EAGLES Teams to play in the Highest level tournaments throughout the West Coast and the entire Nation.

  • Emphasis on blending skills training, development with situational basketball tactics, in-game scenarios, team strategy, IQ drills, individual footwork, ball handling, mental toughness and self-confidence training.
